ST-LAMBERT, APRIL 22, 2025 – Arsenal Media is proud to officially announce the acquisition of seven new radio stations, previously owned by Bell Media. This important transaction, approved on March 11 by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), strengthens Arsenal Media’s presence across Quebec, making it the largest radio broadcaster in the province.
Listeners to these stations will be able to discover a brand-new program reflecting Arsenal Media’s commitment to rich, varied content tailored to each community.
The seven newly acquired stations, located across several regions of Quebec, will broadcast under the O and VIVA banners. These stations include CFZZ FM (BOOM 104,1) in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, CFEI (BOOM 106,5) in Saint-Hyacinthe, CJDM (ENERGIE 92,1) and CHRD (ROUGE 105,3) in Drummondville, CJOI (ROUGE 102,9) and CIKI (ENERGIE 98,7) in Rimouski, and CFVM (ROUGE 99,9) in Amqui.
It should be noted that in its decision, the CRTC stated that « approval of this transaction is in the public interest, as it will ensure that the stations will continue to serve the communities in these regions of Quebec. »

With this acquisition, Arsenal Media consolidates its status as the largest radio broadcaster in Quebec, now with 25 stations serving the communities of Beauce, Centre-du-Québec, Mauricie, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Lanaudière, Estrie, Montérégie, Chaudière-Appalaches, Saguenay, Côte-Nord, Témiscouata and Bas-Saint-Laurent.
